Betty has completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Australian Catholic University, Melbourne.
Betty has always known she has wanted to work in the healthcare field. Beginning this interest as a disability support worker, Betty has worked with people of all ages and understands the importance of trust and collaboration between the individual, family, and the therapy team when working together and supporting an individual to achieve their goals. She loved playing a special part in their lives and helping them participate in activities that are meaningful to them.
Betty started working at Building Blocks Therapy in 2020 as an Allied Health Assistant and upon graduating from her degree, began working as a member of the occupational therapy team.
Betty understands each person is unique and strives to incorporate an individualized, person-centred approach within therapy. She goes out of her way to relate to children of all ages and tailor therapy to the child’s needs. Betty has a gentle, enthusiastic and compassionate style in therapy sessions and loves achieving goals with her clients!
In her spare time, Betty enjoys spending time outside, travelling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
