Term 2, 2022 Programs of Support

  • We Can Play (Under 2 year olds)
    • This program is designed for parents who are concerned about their child’s developmental milestones (Parent/ Caregiver attendance required).
  • Play Dates with Play Mates (2 – 3 year olds)
    • This group is designed for children with delayed communication and development delays to connect with peers and build play skills (Parent/ Caregiver attendance required).
  • Hands & Fit Fingers (3-5 year olds)
    • This program is designed to build children’s fine motor skills, in preparation for school and everyday activities.
  • Little Super Heroes (4- 6 year olds)
    • This program is designed for children to develop their emotional regulation skills, and incorporates aspects of the Zones of Regulation program.
  • Little Highway Heroes (4-5 year olds)
    • This is a social and emotional group program, that teaches little children how to make and keep friends, develop empathy, and learn the skills to calm down. It also addresses tough stuff like teasing, silliness, and bossiness.
  • Picky Pickers Play  (4 – 7 year olds)
    • This program is designed for fussy eaters to support the creation of a positive relationship with people and food, whilst making food fun!
  • Thoughtful Thinkers (4-7 year olds)
    • This program is designed to help children build foundational social competencies (e.g. self awareness, perspective taking, social problem solving).
  • Worry Woos (5-9 year olds)
    • This program is designed to develop children’s ability to identify and respond to emotions, in particular worry. It uses quirky characters that teach children about big emotions through different stories.
  • Lego Legends (5-10 year olds)
    • A social skills program that utilises the medium of Lego to teach children how to best work with others in a group environment whilst also promoting motor skill development.  
  • Courageous Little Ladies  (7 – 8 year olds)
    • This term focuses bullying, friendship conflicts, and developing ways to be resilient.
  • Fabulous Friendships (Girls 8 – 9 year olds)
    • This term focuses on qualities of a good friend, conversation skills, fair play skills, and how to compromise appropriately.
  • Sens-ational Stars  (8 – 11 year olds)
    • This program is designed to help children understand their own sensory preferences, and develop strategies to help with their self regulation.
  • Gr8 M8s (8+ years old)
    • This program is aimed at building play and social interaction skills for children who require a high level of support.
  • The Contenders (11-14 year olds)
    • This program is designed to develop children’s cooperation, problem solving, compromise, and perspective taking skills in a social setting. 
  • Private Ladies Business (Girls 11+ years old)
    • This term focuses on developing girls independence with their hygiene and managing puberty changes.
  • Linked In (12+ years old)
    • This program focuses on developing skills to perspective take, identify social cues in others (e.g. body language and facial expressions), and use flexible thinking in social settings.

Parenting Workshops

  • Tuning Into Teens – Parenting Program
    • This program is designed to support and help parents teach their teenage children to control, understand, and express their emotions in a healthy and positive way. Tuning into teens helps parents recognise, understand, and respond to their teenagers emotions, which in turn helps them manage their one emotions.
  • Circle of Security – Early Intervention Program of Parents & Children
    • Circle of Security Parenting seeks to strengthen attachment relationships between caregivers and children. While the program predominantly focuses on infants and younger children, the concepts are suitable for caregivers of children of all ages.
