Term 3, 2022 Programs of Support

  • We Can Play (Under 2 year olds)
    • This program is designed for parents who are concerned about their child’s developmental milestones (Parent/ Caregiver attendance required).
  • Preptastic (Children going into prep 2023)
    • This program is designed for children going into prep, and covers skills such as fine and gross motor, social, emotional regulation, and school routine preparation.
  • Happy Hands & Fit Fingers (3 – 5 year olds)
    • This program is designed to build children’s fine motor skills, in preparation for school and everyday activities.
  • Little Groovers (3 – 6 year olds)
    • This program is a dance based group that focuses on developing gross motor skills.
  • Play Dates with Play Mates (4 – 5 year olds)
    • This group is designed for children with delayed communication and development delays to connect with peers and build play skills (Parent/ Caregiver attendance required).
  • Little Super Heroes (4- 6 year olds)
    • This program is designed for children to develop their emotional regulation skills, and incorporates aspects of the Zones of Regulation program.
  • Picky Pickers Play (3-4 year olds, and 5-8 year olds) 
    • This program is designed for fussy eaters to support the creation of a positive relationship with people and food, whilst making food fun!
  • Brave Girls (Girls 5-6 year olds) 
    • This term focuses on social skill development, in particular verbal and non-verbal communication, such as gestures, facial expressions, and body language. 
  • Lego Legends Janefield  (5-7 year olds) Lego Legends South Morang (5- 7 years old)
    • A social skills program that utilises the medium of Lego to teach children how to best work with others in a group environment whilst also promoting motor skill development.    
  • Courageous Little Ladies  (Girls 7 – 8 year olds)
    • This term focuses on skills to maintain and strengthen friendships.  
  • Steering my Feelings (7-9 year olds)
    • This is an emotional regulation program which utilises concepts from the Zones of Regulation, to teach children to identify their triggers and use effective coping strategies.
  • Fabulous Friendships (Girls 8 – 9 year olds)
    • This term focuses on developing skills to cope with hurtful behaviours from others e.g.,Bullying.
  • Lego Legends (8-10 year olds)
    • A social skills program that utilises the medium of Lego to teach children how to best work with others in a group environment whilst also promoting motor skill development.
  • The Mindful Project (8-11 year olds)
    • This fun and engaging group will focus on teaching children about mindfulness so that they can respond more effectively to stressful situations.
  • Worry Woos (8-11 year olds)
    • This program is designed to develop children’s ability to identify and respond to emotions, in particular worry. It uses quirky characters that teach children about big emotions through different stories.
  • Teen Titans (Boys 9-11 year olds)
    • This term focuses on developing skills to make and maintain friendships, including conversational skills and using humour with others. 
  • Private Ladies Business (Girls 10-15 year olds)
    • This term focuses on developing skills to initiate and maintain conversations with others.
  • Sports Unlimited (13+ years old)
    • This program focuses on the skills required to participate and engage in team sports. Participants will develop an understanding of key concepts and game skills in different sport, with this term focusing on Basketball.

Parenting Workshops

  • Tuning In To Kids – Parenting Program
    • This program is designed to support and help parents teach their teenage children to control, understand, and express their emotions in a healthy and positive way. Tuning into teens helps parents recognise, understand, and respond to their teenagers emotions, which in turn helps them manage their one emotions.
  • Circle of Security – Early Intervention Program of Parents & Children
    • Circle of Security Parenting seeks to strengthen attachment relationships between caregivers and children. While the program predominantly focuses on infants and younger children, the concepts are suitable for caregivers of children of all ages.
