Motivated Movers

Our Out of the Box Therapy Programs are specially designed by a Team of Occupational Therapists at Building Blocks Therapy to create fun opportunities to connect with your child whilst developing their skills.

The Motivated Movers program is designed to encourage children to engage in a range of activities that support the development of their gross motor skills: balance, coordination, strength, core strength and midline crossing. As well as also increasing their endurance, confidence and participation within these types of activities. The program is designed with the family in mind so we encourage families to engage in these quick movement based activities together regularly

It is suitable for kids that struggle with their gross motor skills or that lack the confidence to engage in activities that require them to use their gross motor skills.

This program is also designed to get the whole family involved in the fun.

Optional One-on-One Parent Coaching Sessions are available with this program.

Age Range: 4 – 10 years.

Our Out of the Box Therapy Programs are specially designed by a Team of Occupational Therapists at Building Blocks Therapy to create fun opportunities to connect with your child whilst developing their skills.

This program has been designed to create opportunities for children to engage in fun and playful activities that not only support the development of fine motor skills but also foster opportunities for connections.

These skills are necessary for many aspects of self-care but they are also critical for the development of emergent writing.
