Tehya

Occupational Therapist

Tehya has been passionate about occupational therapy from the moment she discovered the profession, and that enthusiasm shines through in everything she does. She loves working collaboratively with children and their families to help each child flourish in their everyday life, always striving to create a safe, supportive and exciting environment where children can explore and develop their skills.

Having graduated in 2025 from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours), she brings fresh knowledge alongside valuable lived experience that guides her practice and deepens her understanding of the families she works with.

Understanding that every child and family is unique, Tehya works diligently to truly understand their needs and find creative strategies that work for each individual. She’s passionate about thinking outside the box to develop approaches that feel right for each individual situation. Nothing brings her more joy than seeing and celebrating the amazing progress and growth of the children she works with.

Outside of work, Tehya is a junior girls’ cricket coach and enjoys spending time with her family and being active.
